Technology and service provider Western Advance will align with MicroPower to address growing need for perimeter and outdoor surveillance in security, business and operations
MicroPower has also announced availability of SOLVEIL surveillance camera for perimeter and outdoor applications in Australia

MicroPower Technologies Inc., an award-winning provider of surveillance solutions optimised for rapid, cost-effective deployment, has announced the availability of the SOLVEIL surveillance solution in Australia. Technology and service provider Western Advance will align with MicroPower to address the growing need for perimeter and outdoor surveillance in security, business and operations environments.

MicroPower has built a substantial business in North America and Europe, and looks to further expand its geographic reach in target markets through partnerships with leading technology providers. Western Advance is an Australian-owned engineering and integration services group covering the Asia-Pacific region that partners with manufacturers in the security, fire, radar, intercom and communications industries. It has the market expertise and connections in the oil and gas, transportation, law enforcement and utility markets to help drive sustained growth for both organisations.

“We are always looking for innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients and represent options for market growth. The MicroPower SOLVEIL solution clearly fits into this category,” said Simon Zola, Manager, Commercial Security, Western Advance. “There is substantial market opportunity for solar, wireless surveillance solutions within our target markets and we look forward to delivering this unique platform to our customer base.”

“We constantly seek ways to increase our presence within high-growth markets and we see strong evidence of significant opportunity in Australia,” said Dave Tynan, Vice President of Global Marketing and Sales, MicroPower Technologies. “Our relationship with Western Advance ensures we capitalise on customer demand for perimeter and remote site surveillance that is unencumbered by traditional boundaries.”

At Australian Security Industry Association 2015 Security Conference and Exhibition at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, MicroPower showcased SOLVEIL, a feature-rich, highly reliable megapixel surveillance camera designed for perimeter and outdoor applications. The advanced wireless design minimises deployment time, reduces installation complexity, significantly reduces cabling and conduit, and limits business disruption because there is no need for trenching. SOLVEIL also complies with global unlicensed open radio frequencies.
