MARSS new system Pocket GSM is available in kit of different class of power for protection of photovoltaic installations up to 20 kwp
MARSS to present its EDIL Defender Project for its international market

For the first time at IFESC, the most important exhibition dedicated to Security, MARSS will present the last news about security solution over Plastic Optical Fiber.

“A new way to being and to see the security, with innovative solutions dedicated to specific market industries – say the Ceo  Ippazio Martella –“always thought and planned in the idea of convenience, quality and innovation

Plastic Optical Fiber (POF) is a cable  typically made of Polymethil Metacrilate (PMMA) as the core material, and a fluorinated polymer as the cladding material, and in its inside travels light. Its use in security field presents same important advantages, first of all the possibility to realise high-value security solutions for the end-user, because assure flexible installation and use, long-life in time and space, law compliance, high-level of safety, operation with any condition and context” – continue Mr Martella.

Among news in exhibition, the new system POCKET GSM, available in Kit of different class of power, to protect the photovoltaic installations up to 20 kWp, of any type and anywhere installed.

Entirely based on the POF technology, the same system can be used:

  • to realise outdoor perimeter solutions, because can be applied on any fence to avoid the breakthrough;
  • as a stand-alone GSM communicator, because integrates the GSM communication.

The new POCKET embodies all the qualities and features of the most well-known and award-winning Solar Defender System, but it has been turned in a Plug&Play pocket version, which best meets the needs of the residential, commercial, agricultural fields and the PV market of small-medium sized.

But the news don’t stop here, says Gianluigi Stefanelli, MARSS Commercial Director: “during IFSEC we’ll present to the international market, the  EDIL Defender project, for  the protection of the equipments, machineries, materials in the building sites, even often object of thefts and vandalism”.

The  Edil Defender project is a security offer to protect the building sites and it materialises into the homonymous system, capable to guard the individual equipment and to protect the entire perimeter of the site, in a simply, quickly and safely way, without high installation/un-installation costs, and everywhere located.

The quality of our POF offers some interesting security solutions that grant quality, reliability and durability, and solve typical problems in the industry" - continues Stefanelli "such as the tightness and quality of the video signal of a CCTV system installed in critical environmental, which MARSS gave a response with the M-Fiber Video Converter system ".

The system allows to convert over M-Fiber Plastic Fiber the video signal and to guarantee immunity from electrical interference and electromagnetic sealing and image quality, installation flexibility, since the fiber can also be installed in existing electrical conduits.
