Integration empowers security operations with accurate outdoor video detection to aid situational awareness and incident resolution |
SightSensor video analytic cameras, which detect objects that violate perimeter security rules, can now send video and alarm information over the network for display within the IPSecurityCenter PSIM system. The combination of technologies provides actionable information about threats that may occur over substantial outdoor areas, coupled with aggregated intelligence for rapid and precise incident resolution. Alerts and alarms from SightLogix can also trigger actions in the PSIM software to initiate advanced operator guidance, using IPSecurityCenter’s automated workflow technology.
“This integration takes two time-proven solutions and makes the combined benefits available to future and existing customers of both systems,” said John Romanowich, President and CEO, SightLogix. “The joint solution will be of interest to a wide range of security applications, including transportation, oil and gas, utilities, and other types of critical infrastructure protection.”
“Physical security is in transition, from video systems which are reliant on constant monitoring and input by security personnel to information-based systems which proactively manage the increasing volume of video traffic in the control room. This integration will ensure only the most relevant video is brought to the attention of operators, enabling organizations to manage more sites to a higher security level with less operators,” said Matthew Kushner, President - CNL Americas. “Incorporating specialized and innovative technologies as part of overall situational awareness expands IPSecurityCenter’s value to the user and keeps us at the forefront of the PSIM industry.”
