CNL Software, a world leader in Physical Security Information Management (PSIM) software, is pleased to announce that it has partnered with Western Advance, a specialist supplier and integrator to the oil and gas, mining, defence, airports, maritime and critical infrastructure protection sectors. The two companies will commence work on an integrated PSIM solution for one of the largest LNG projects in Australia.

Formed in 1993 Western Advance has become one of Australia's leading specialist in CCTV Solutions for the oil and gas industry, successfully supplying bespoke CCTV, emergency warning, PAGA systems intercom, security systems, intruder detection and access control solutions for major projects and installations.

In addition to oil and gas, Western Advance focuses on a number of key areas, such as protecting mission critical environments including mining, defence, transport, airports and maritime infrastructure. The company has over 20 years engineering, delivery and support experience; offering sophisticated surveillance and security solutions from specialist companies who are recognised as world leaders in their respective fields, including CNL Software. Under the CNL Software Channel Alliance Program (CAP) Western Advance sell, deploy, commission and maintain the IPSecurityCenter PSIM platform within Australia and New Zealand.

The two companies have recently been awarded one of the largest LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) safety and security projects in the region. The project will provide a life safety system during the construction phase on the facility, but will be repurposed to provide a complete safety and security solution as the project moves into production phase.

“We are delighted to partner with CNL Software. We are seeing more and more projects requiring PSIM software to ensure integration, management and complete situation awareness” commented Mike Pugh, CEO of Western Advance, “A key requirement of this project was to source a solution that is future-proof. IPSecurityCenter offers us the peace of mind that the systems in phase one will work together with the systems added in subsequent phases, to provide a complete integrated solution.”

“Western Advance work with customers in a wide variety of facilities and environments, it was therefore essential for them to select a platform that not only has the flexibility needed to for different environments, but also has reference accounts in each” explained James Condron, VP Sales at CNL Software, “We are pleased they selected CNL Software as a partner, and we look forward to working with them on a number of other opportunities we are actively pursuing together.”
