HID Global, the premier manufacturer of contactless access control cards and readers for the security industry, today announced that it has further increased its sales support for the EMEA region with the appointment of Robert Jansson as Regional Sales Manager for Scandinavia.  He will be based in Gothenburg Sweden, with sales responsibilities for the fast growing Scandinavian territory, including Sweden, Denmark, Iceland and Finland.

Robert Jansson comments, "I am confident that with my knowledge and expertise of the access control market I will be able to follow up new business opportunities in the important Scandinavian countries, which has great opportunities for further growth and development.

I have been fortunate in working alongside HID for many years, and have built up good working relationships with the HID sales team, and look forward to generating opportunities with new and existing customers, and finding a solution tailored to their needs."

Mr Jansson will report to Neill Williams, Director of Sales.  Neill Williams comments "I am very proud to have Robert on board with us at HID, he is able to bring invaluable skills and experience he gained whilst at ASSA ABLOY and is able to extend our professional and highly skilled sales team, and I have every confidence that he will be able to provide a first class service to our customers and help to build an even stronger customer portfolio in the Scandinavian region."

Prior to working with HID, Robert enjoyed four years success as regional manager for HID's sister company Assa AB in Sweden.

Before his time with ASSA AB, Robert worked as Project Manager for Securitas.  Robert is fluent in English and Swedish but can also speak Norwegian, Danish, Dutch and German.
