Interlogix releases TruVision Mobile - a new remote video management application

Interlogix®, a leader in security and life safety solutions for residential and commercial enterprises, releases its new high-resolution analog cameras as well as TruVision™ Mobile, a new remote video management application, at the ASIS International 58th Annual Seminar and Exhibits in Philadelphia. Interlogix is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

TruVision Mobile, designed and optimized for tablet users, includes a feature-rich interface for both the TruVision DVR 30 and DVR 31 and will be the foundation for a common mobile experience for all TruVision recording platforms. A free, easy-to-use app, TruVision Mobile allows users to view real-time video and control PTZ cameras from their iPhone® and iPad®.

“Mobile apps are no longer just a secondary thought, but a significant part of the daily operation of a video system,” said Kostas Mellos, sales leader, Video & Transmission, Interlogix. “We think it’s important to invest in remote management applications to provide a cohesive view of video across multiple environments.”

Interlogix also introduces its enhanced and expanded line of analog cameras with the latest in high-performance and imaging up to 650 TVL, and with more than 20 new models.

“The updated TruVision and UltraView™ analogue lines are cost-effective and easy to deploy with minimal training – meeting demands for almost any application,” said Mike Chiavacci, general manager, Video & Transmission, Interlogix.

The new models consist of box, dome and infrared offerings, and complement an award-winning line-up of analog cameras that include the UltraView XP4. Offering exceptional performance in diverse lighting conditions, and a result of a nine-month collaboration with PIXIM®, the UltraView XP4 won Best in Video Surveillance Cameras SD at SIA’s New Products Showcase earlier this year.

Interlogix will also showcase its suite of IP cameras, now integrated with Exacq Technologies and OnSSI video management platforms, in addition to other commercial offerings including Verex commercial intrusion, IFS transmission and TruPortal web-based access control.
