The new Interlogix product line is ideal for wide-temperature operation, providing electrical transient protection and optional redundant power operation
The new network switches and media converters provide high power PoE (30w) that complies with IEEE802.3

Interlogix, a leader in security and life safety solutions for residential and commercial enterprises, increases its capability in IFS® industrial PoE media converters and high power PoE-at (PoE+) network switches, offering exceptional performance in challenging environments, such as industrial security and Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS). Interlogix is a part of UTC Climate, Controls & Security, a unit of United Technologies Corp.

The new network switches and media converters provide high power PoE (30w) that complies with IEEE802.3at standards for use with IP edge devices requiring higher power to operate.

“Interlogix’ IFS brand of industrial network equipment offers highly reliable performance in demanding environments, such as factory floors, warehouses and road-side traffic signalisation - cabinets where temperature, dust and humidity can stress standard electronic components,” said Mike Chiavacci, general manager, video & transmission, Interlogix.

The products in this line are ideal for wide-temperature operation, providing electrical transient protection and optional redundant power operation.

“As IP cameras continue to become more commonplace, it’s important that we manufacture products to meet today’s needs as well as look ahead to meet customers’ needs in the years ahead,” said Kostas Mellos, sales leader, video & transmission, Interlogix. “These new products complement IP cameras, including those rated for outdoor use that require PoE+ for heater blower operation.”

Interlogix offers a full line of IFS transmission products, including analog and digital fiber, UTP, media converters, PoE and network switches. Products are on display from April 10-12 at ISC West in Las Vegas, booth #18017, and are available through authorised Interlogix dealers and distributors worldwide.
