Group 4 Technology (G4Tec), a world leading manufacturer of security management systems for the commercial market, welcomes Kevin Anderson to the marketing department.  Kevin is the new UK Head of Marketing, and is responsible for the strategic and tactical execution of all UK marketing activity within G4Tec and G2IS.  He reports to Vice President of Marketing, Kim Loy.

His responsibilities include a plethora of activities to drive the business forward including:

  • Identifying an attractive financial and defensible market position before  developing and implementing the strategic plans to secure this position.
  • Driving marketing communications to deliver an ongoing industry ‘buzz' across all stakeholders.
  • Fully understanding customer needs to deliver relevant and sustainable customer propositions.
  • Actively participating at the Executive Team level in the strategic planning to secure long term growth as the markets G4Tec and G2IS serve evolves.

"There is no dismissing the challenge ahead within G4Tec, however I am passionate about everything I do within business and am confident that by working with the marketing team, we can quickly make a difference to drive the business forward," said Kevin.

Kevin spent the last 13 years within various technical business-to-business marketing roles in the Security and IT Networking sectors where he gained considerable exposure to the full marketing mix.

Prior to joining G4Tec, Kevin was Head of Product Management at ADC KRONE where he was responsible for the structured cabling portfolio across Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Prior to his Product Management roles in ADC KRONE, he spent seven years in Marketing at Cooper Security, the most recent role as Marketing Manager for their market leading intruder alarm brands Menvier Security and Scantronic.

"Kevin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to G4Tec," said G4Tec Vice President of Marketing, Kim Loy.  "Through his guidance, G4Tec in the UK will work to tackle more market share, and make Symmetry a household name in the technology sector of the security market."

Kevin holds an MBA in International Business from the University of Birmingham.  In addition, he is a Chartered Marketer and holds a Post Graduate Diploma from the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Kevin enjoys walking, sailing, and despite years of trying, continues to hack his way badly around a golf course.
