A three way working relationship has recently been announced as part of Fujitsu Europe Ltd's ongoing strategy of enterprise business development through new product offerings.  Their PalmSecure product will now be made available in Europe through the combined expertise of TDSi Access Control and SECOM.

TDSi will work based on Fujitsu PalmSecure technology to develop the security product for SECOM to integrate into a complete security service offerings which will be made available directly at end user level.

Mike Nelson; General Manager Sales Operations, Fujitsu Europe Ltd.  says "We hope that through leveraging on all parties expertise in the security market, their knowledge and success, combined with the help of TDSi who are such a strong player in the access control market, that we can position our Biometric solution as the benchmark access control system in the market."

Our day-to-day life is becoming increasingly digitised and electronic communication is advancing at a fast pace.  This brings about a general requirement for increased security and with it an urgent need for secure methods of identifying people.  With its state of the art biometric authentication technology, Fujitsu Europe can meet these requirements, setting a de facto standard in high security markets with PalmSecure.

The PalmSecure solution offers maximum security as each individual's vein pattern is different so assuming a false identity is impossible, maximum precision with impressively low false acceptance rates and false rejection rates as well as hygienic handling.

PalmSecure can be used to provide access control to buildings and networks as well as PCs and can also be applied to a whole range of vertical markets including healthcare, banking, government and public transport.
