Industry veteran Bob Schindler was recently appointed National Sales and Key Accounts Manager for CCTV Sales for the Fujinon Broadcast and Communications Products Division.

In his new role, Schindler will restructure Fujinon's CCTV division, supervise and support its regional managers nationwide, significantly expand sales, and raise awareness of Fujinon's CCTV lenses across the diverse customer base.

"Fujinon makes superior CCTV lenses and has a well-established, proven track record backed by excellent customer service. But there are prospective customers out there that still may not know about the products and quality we offer," explained Schindler. "I am looking forward to building relationships with new customers requiring CCTV lenses, including systems integrators/dealers and distributors, as well as working closely with architects and engineering consultants."

Among the target markets that Schindler's sales team will aggressively pursue include: security and surveillance, machine vision and robotic manufacturing, and teleconferencing.

Schindler brings over 20 years of experience, much of which was focused on the CCTV and surveillance business.  From 2005-2007, he was National Accounts Sales Manager for International Fiber Systems, a GE Security company, in Newtown, CT, where he developed business for the company's fiber optic and IP/Ethernet communications equipment for security and surveillance applications.

From 1995 to 2004, Schindler served as the National Marketing Manager and also, National Accounts Sales Manager for Panasonic Systems Solutions Company of America, in Secaucus, NJ.   Then, from 1988-1995, he worked as National Sales and Marketing Manager for the Industrial Video Division of Toshiba America Consumer Products, in Wayne, NJ; and National Sales Manager for Sony Security Systems from 1986-1988.  At Sony and Toshiba, Schindler successfully launched new CCTV divisions for both companies in addition to increasing sales.

According to Schindler, "Higher resolution security cameras demand the best quality optics. Fujinon's CCTV lenses benefit greatly from the superior optics and technical advances being used in our broadcast television lenses, particularly for HDTV."
