NLSS's NextMobile application turns cell phones or tablets into live streaming surveillance cameras |
Mobile applications
NextProtect™ is a new mobile application that allows users to use their smart phone as a mobile guard or virtual escort. With NextProtect, a person can enable security personnel to track them via GPS in their mobile phone to ensure safe travel. The tracking can be turned off once the person reaches their destination. The application also features a panic button that will alert authorities of their location when activated while automatically sending audio and video from the phone.
“Using NextProtect as a mobile guard enhances safety from a proactive standpoint in a variety of applications,” said Peter Jankowski, Chairman and President, Next Level Security Systems. “Students walking back to their car or dorm on campuses, runners taking an evening jog in risky neighbourhoods and service personnel working alone in unsecured areas will feel safe knowing authorities are a push of the button away.”
Next Level will also unveil NextMobile™, a mobile application that turns cell phones or tablets into live-streaming surveillance cameras. When activated, the phone streams video and audio data to the control center for live viewing or storage. NextMobile allows security practitioners to quickly expand their security network and deliver surveillance video of areas that do not have conventional security cameras.
Gateway 3.0
The NLSS Gateway 3.0, the latest upgrade to the company’s flagship platform, proactively enhances security with NextDetect™, a facial recognition and detection analytic available as an add-on feature. The unique software allows users to create or upload an image database to be searched against for potential matches, and alert users when a match is detected. The latest Gateway software update also includes enhanced audio alert capabilities, audio analytics including glass break, aggression and gunshot detection, and features support for a variety of additional camera manufacturers.
