All campus buildings at CKU are managed and interconnected by a centralised control centre through LILIN VMS system

Cankiri Karatekin University improved on-campus security for students and staff with the implementation of the innovative video solution from LILIN. CKU is located northeast of Ankara the capital of Turkey, with more than 5,000 faculty, staff and students. The university works to prevent and respond to emergencies by offering a reliable CCTV monitoring system that creates a safer environment for students as well as staff to study, work and socialise.

LILIN IP surveillance solutions

CKU campus has about 100 LILIN cameras including outdoor speed domes (IPS4204), bullet cameras (IPR7722), and outdoor IR vandal-resistant domes (IPR6122) in outdoor public areas, athletic, academic, library and student housing buildings. The campus-wide system runs on LILIN NAV1108 recorders and Navigator VMS (Video Management Software) open platform, and all campus buildings at CKU are managed and interconnected by a centralised control centre through the LILIN VMS system.

One of the main reasons the university chose to install LILIN megapixel cameras was because of the camera’s discreet form. LILIN’s partner in Turkey, TESAN, was chosen for their years of technical knowledge and experience to secure the campus of Cankiri Karatekin University. LILIN VMS system delivers performance and reliability that is needed in all security situations on campus.

Transition from analogue to IP

The transition from analogue to IP was made easier by using LILIN surveillance systems since LILIN IP cameras have a low failure rate and are durable and easy to install. By providing unparalleled 24/7 situational awareness, LILIN is enabling the university to manage everyday security operations much more efficiently.
