HDCVI is an analogue high definition video transmission standard over coaxial cable. It uses progressive scanning and supports two high definition video formats of 1280H and 1920H (1280H is defined as 1280×720 effective resolution; 1920H is defined as 1920×1080 effective resolution). By transmitting uncompressed and lossless signal over point-to-point links, HDCVI is a reliable, none delay, high efficiency and million pixel video transmission technology. HDCVI provide a reliable transmission distance of more than 500m over 75-3 or similar coaxial cable by adaptive corrections of signal loss. In addition, HDCVI owns several independent intellectual property rights, including composite audio signal transmission technology and bi-direction data communication technology.
