The dual door control bathroom system is a unique solution ideal for the specific application
The Dortronics 43211-CB Communicating Bathroom System is ideal for use in a two-door restroom facility

Dortronics Systems, Inc., the industry's leading provider of standard and custom finish door control products, introduces a new communication-capable, fail-safe control system for public restroom applications at ISC West (booth #1037). The 43211-CB Communicating Bathroom System provides power to operate most low voltage locking mechanisms including maglocks, strikes and electrified locksets, and is ideal for use in a two-door restroom facility such as those located in dormitories or healthcare facilities.

Either of the “privacy” push buttons will energise door locks for both doors and illuminate the “occupied” high intensity LED indicators outside the bathroom. The privacy push buttons also illuminate to indicate to the user when the doors are locked. Both doors must be closed in order to activate the privacy locks. Opening either door using the mechanical lockset hardware or activating the “emergency release” push button will unlock both doors immediately. For added convenience and safety, the system includes a fire alarm interface to redundantly unlock both doors for egress.

The power supply/controller provides 4 amps of 12 or 24V DC power and is housed in a NEMA enclosure.

“Assured privacy and convenience with one-touch control is an important design feature of this new system,” said Bryan Sanderford, National Sales Manager, Dortronics Systems. “It’s a unique solution ideal for this specific application.”
