Dedicated Micros – part of AD Group - has appointed Andrew Finn as its new Managing Director with responsibility for Europe, Middle East and Asia.

Andrew who is also Group Finance Director at  AD Group, has been an invaluable member of the team at Dedicated Micros since 1998 when he joined as UK Financial Controller and rose rapidly to become, in under a year, Group Financial Controller.  He was appointed to the Dedicated Micros Board in 2002 and after his promotion to the position of Finance Director played a pivotal role working with the Board to ensure the successful completion of a series of acquisitions, looking at critical areas such as due diligence, financing and legal requirements.

Previously he worked for GEC Alstom as Chief Accountant, where he was responsible for seven international companies, and for 10 years with the Kennedy Construction Group.

Said Nigel Petrie, Chairman of Dedicated Micros: “We are delighted that Andrew has accepted this position, he already has an intimate knowledge of the operation of the business at a strategic level through his experience on the Boards of AD Group and Dedicated Micros.  He has proven time and again that he has the commercial acumen to capitalise on the considerable number of exciting product developments coming on stream - many of which will be on show at IFSEC - and in the pipeline.  We see this is a positive move for Dedicated Micros as a business and, most importantly, for customers to unlock the true potential of our industry leading CCTV solution.”
