Dantech Electronic Engineering, the UK manufacturer of specialist power supplies and ancillary equipment for security applications, has released two new ‘All-in-on’ integrated power supply and access control PCB equipment mounting solutions.

Provide simple & reliable installations

Specifically designed to provide simple and reliable installations, the new Dantech DA481 and DA482 are secure steel enclosures with PSU and provision for either 2 or 4 (405mm x 400mm x 120mm) Paxton PCB Access Control units. Featuring a highly-efficient 12v DC switchmode power supply, in the event of a mains power failure, two (continually charged) 12Ah VRLA battery packs provide standby back-up.

An ideal solution for installers looking to fit multiple Paxton access control units either centrally, or located around a site, the all-in-one Dantech Power Centre solutions provide a safe and compact, key-lockable enclosure with lid tamper switch.

House multiple access control PCBs in a single secure enclosure

For easier installations, the DA481 and DA482 feature a fast-fit, tool free access control PCB mounting system, whilst the ability to house multiple access control PCBs in a single secure enclosure, provides a major benefit vs. the use of installing individual power supply units per access controller. Enhancing system flexibility and performance, user selectable outputs enable locks to be individually controlled, without the use of extra switch relays.

Commenting on the new Power Centre products, Tim Scott, Director at Dantech Electronic Engineering said: "Our experience manufacturing robust electronic solutions for a wide variety of security system applications has allowed us to design a unique, secure Power Centre product that will add value to any Paxton based access control installation – providing performance and cost saving benefits to the installer and end-user.”

The Dantech ‘All-in-on’ integrated power supply and equipment mounting solution range also includes Power Centre products suitable for Lenel, TYCO and Vanderbilt access control PCB integration.
