Surveon will showcase its hardware RAID NVR solution at ISC West 2012, USA
The SMR8000 Series offers up to 48-channel megapixel recording with high availability and easy maintenance

Surveon, the complete megapixel solutions provider, continues to strengthen its megapixel recording solutions and will showcase its all-in-one desktop megapixel hardware RAID NVR solution, the SMR8000 Series, at ISC West 2012, USA.

Supporting eight hot-swappable hard disk drives, the SMR8000 Series offers up to 48-channel megapixel recording with high availability and easy maintenance. SMR8000 comes with an easy-to-use desktop form factor and provides high I/O rates, large capacities, and overall system stability necessary to help system integrators easily meet the demands of megapixel environments. Combined with dual display, two GLAN ports, built-in HD video decoding acceleration, support for 12 HD cameras, and 30% less CPU loading when compared to PC-based NVR and software RAID NAS NVR solutions, SMR8000 offers an ideal solution for mission-critical environments, such as hotels, schools, banks and factories.

Featuring 100% in-house design, Surveon's hardware RAID SMR Series offers advantages unavailable on common PC-based NVR or software RAID NAS NVR solutions. With many options available to users, including two to 116 disk drives and six to more than 500 channels for megapixel recording, the SMR Series provides installers with affordable yet powerful megapixel recording solutions.
