RapidKL public transportation has made its passengers even more secure by using NUUO surveillance solutions
NUUO, Inc. Central Management System takes care of high-end projects.

With its integrated rail and bus network, RapidKL is Malaysia's largest public transport provider in the Klang Valley.  The service transports approximately 4.8million passengers every week, with 992 buses operating between 48 stations daily. Ensuring the safety of their huge passenger base during transit must be RapidKL's prerogative. NUUO now helps RapidKL maintain such a prerogative - NUUO's CMS system and IP+ software accommodates the vastest of surveillance ranges.

NUUO Hybrid Solution offers flexibility & NUUO CMS powerfully monitors over 600 cameras and displays instant alerts

Since September 2009, RapidKL has adopted the NUUO CMS solution to monitor their 25 LRT (Light Rail Transit) stations.

The 450 analogue cameras installed are managed by the NUUO DVR Card (SCB-7000), for local site monitoring and 24hr full D1 recording. For higher megapixel video quality, RapidKL have installed approximately 240 AXIS IPcameras within trains, and Samsung cameras, which use NUUO software, within train stations. At two central control rooms, NUUO CMS is deployed for the overall management of 48 sites. With the CMS offering live matrix monitoring and alert functions, headquarters' personnel can respond quickly in the event of threat.

Health monitoring tools help maintain the condition of servers.

RapidKL employ health monitoring tools to ensure that all servers are maintained. The health monitoring tools function monitors fan, RAM and processor usage and hard disk performance.

System installer Tetrex first selected NUUO as the surveillance system providers for RapidKL for its highest recording performance, user-friendliness and comprehensive CMS solution - a perfect fit for the demands of such a vast project.
