COMPUTERLINKS, a leading global distributor of IT security and Internet technology solutions

COMPUTERLINKS will be showcasing IP physical security solutions at Infosecurity Europe

COMPUTERLINKS, a leading global distributor of IT security and Internet technology solutions, recently announced that it will be showcasing its IP physical security solutions at Infosecurity Europe, 28-30th April at Earls Court, London (stand number H105).

With the addition of recent signings including Netgenium, HID Global and Mobotix to its portfolio, COMPUTERLINKS can now provide IP surveillance, access control, and intelligent building solutions all under one umbrella.

COMPUTERLINKS will be demonstrating Netgenium's access control and intelligent building solutions at the event, along with the opportunity to see secure identity solutions vendor HID Global's ‘door-to-Windows®' access cards in action. On the stand will also be COMPUTERLINKS' most recent partner, Mobotix, a hi-res IP surveillance vendor.

Visitors to the stand will be treated to a demonstration of Netgenium's door entry system, fully integrated with HID Global's door-to-Windows® access cards, along with a selection of Mobotix cameras set up with screens.

Head of IP physical security at COMPUTERLINKS, John Turner, said: "With the growing convergence of IP-based physical security solutions, IT departments need to ensure they are equipped to deal with new responsibilities for access control. IT security resellers can offer a wide range of solutions, from IP-based surveillance to access cards that power down an employee's workstation and surrounding lighting when they leave the building at night - all functioning across the network."

John continued: "Of course, as a value added distributor we are always on-hand to provide pre and post-sale training, support and on-site demonstrations with all of the solutions we provide."

The opportunity for resellers in the IP physical security market was endorsed with results of a survey conducted this month with research specialists Vanson Bourne.  According to the research 41 per cent of the 100 large enterprises (1000+ employees) surveyed were considering implementing IP-based physical security solutions in the next six months.

The full range of vendors in COMPUTERLINKS' physical security division includes; Panasonic System Solutions, Milestone Systems, Honeywell Access Systems and Honeywell Video Systems, Netgenium Systems, HID Global, and Mobotix.
