Honeywell signs distribution agreement with COMPUTERLINKS which increases availability of IP access control and surveillance products
Honeywell recently announced that it has signed an agreement with COMPUTERLINKS for the distribution of Honeywell Internet Protocol (IP) access control, electronic surveillance and security monitoring systems in the UK and Ireland. The agreement allows COMPUTERLINKS value added resellers (VARs) to provide British and Irish businesses of all sizes with cost-effective and integrated IP security solutions.

"UK and Ireland are important markets for Honeywell, and COMPUTERLINKS will expand our reach to IT VAR's who are increasingly active in the security industry," said Jeremy Kimber, Honeywell Systems Group strategy and channel marketing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa. "With its strong channel relationships and understanding of IP security, COMPUTERLINKS is ideally positioned to support Honeywell. We see this as a great opportunity for both parties to cultivate the market for converged IP solutions."

"The addition of Honeywell to our portfolio will allow our business partners to provide higher and more flexible levels of security than with earlier analogue systems, including addressing the increasing demand for combined logical and physical security," said John Turner, head of IP Physical Security at COMPUTERLINKS.
