Scati's security solution comprises more than 20 IP Scati Vision video recorders |
Scati, specialist manufacturer in the design of comprehensive CCTV solutions for the control and efficient surveillance of large facilities, has replicated the success obtained in other projects to offer a complete security solution for the headquarters.
BBVA Provincial Financial Center is located in the fifth highest skyscraper of Venezuela. Inaugurated in 1984, with 32 floors and 159 meters, in this building operates one of the main financial private institutions, Banco Provincial.
The solution to securise BBVA headquarters comprises more than 20 IP Scati Vision video recorders able to record more than 700 cameras installed, IP and analogue, with a storage that allows capturing high-definition images. From the Control Center are managed multiple CCTV systems of 3 singular facilities, 300 bank branches and more than 1,000 ATMs distributed along the Venezuelan geography.
Moreover these video recorders are managed from three management workstations Scati Watcher, with hardware redundancy, located in the control centre of the building and with support of the AMC (Advanced Management Center).
In the main control centre, is also located the powerful management and monitoring tool Scati Wall, which allows alarms/events reception and associates them with images and automatic actions. As a result, the user can manage and visualise all the cameras installed in the building from a single place, configuring the scenarios that best suited his distribution and critical areas for video surveillance. The control centre is composed by two virtual matrixes with two Scati Wall operators, over four display units each one, able to manage up to 64 cameras and visualise scenarios up to 36 cameras at 30 fps (frames per second) simultaneously with HDTV resolution or up 4 CIF (for analogue cameras).
“The hybrid video management solution provided by Scati, allows a phased migration to an IP system, using existing cameras without oversizing the recording equipment, managing IP and analogue cameras at the same time” |
The project also entails the design and installation of a dedicated fibre network, with redundancy between control centers by means of a backbone of 20 GLbps and a latest generation network infrastructure that allows obtaining the best performance of the CCTV system, ensuring the availability of the video and the growth in the future.
Sistemas Avanzados Ibersegur, specialists in the security integration systems for Bank entities and large edge facilities of the energetic sector has accomplished the design, and engineering as well, besides the installation of the security systems of the project.
“The hybrid video management solution provided by Scati, allows a phased migration to an IP system, using existing cameras without oversizing the recording equipment, managing IP and analogue cameras at the same time”, remark Ángel Cano, Ibersegur General Manager and adds “On the other hand, this solution offers great facilities to the integration with other systems of the building like access controls, intrusion detections so that it eases the security management from a single control centre”.
“To Scati is essential working hand in hand in the design of a comprehensive solution with the end-user and the system integrator to meet our customer needs. Ibersegur has been a fundamental figure in this project because it has been who has accomplished all the integration and the installation of the systems” comments Alberto Perez, Scati Sales Director.
