Proxim Wireless Corporation, a leading provider of high performance indoor and outdoor wireless backhaul systems, announced that three new members, Toru Kashima, Robert M. Pons, and David J. Porte, were elected to its Board of Directors at Proxim's May 17, 2011 annual meeting of stockholders.

"The new members of our Board bring tremendous industry experience, enthusiasm, and talent to our Board of Directors," said Lee Gopadze, President and Chief Executive Officer of Proxim Wireless. "We are pleased to have them on our team and look forward to their ongoing contributions and guidance for Proxim's strategic growth initiatives. At the same time, I would like to thank our outgoing directors John Gerdelman, Robert Wiedemer, and Dr. Rao Papolu for their significant contributions during their years of service."
