Avigilon ranked eighth fastest growing technology company in North America on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500

Avigilon, a leader in high-definition (HD) and megapixel video surveillance solutions, was ranked the fastest growing technology company in Canada by the 15th annual Deloitte Technology Fast 50™ Awards Program and the eighth fastest growing technology company in North America on the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™. This marks the second year that Avigilon has ranked as the fastest growing software company in North America and its third year making the top ten on the Fast 50. The company also won the prestigious Leadership Award in the hardware category for the ability to create a distinct competitive advantage in a high growth market.

"The Technology Fast 50 Leadership Award celebrates the elite companies in the Canadian technology sector," said Richard Lee, national leader, Technology, Media & Telecommunications Industry Group, Deloitte. "Avigilon has a track record of outstanding accomplishments and possesses a competitive advantage that gives them the potential to rank amongst Canadian companies that have grown into global leaders."

Winners for the Leadership Award were selected by a panel of subject matter experts who evaluated applicants on key criteria: growth and market attractiveness, management effectiveness and organization, and financial performance. Avigilon provides award-winning video management software and the industry's broadest range of high-definition surveillance cameras - from 1 to 29 MP - to more than 80 countries around the world.

"To win the elite Leadership Award, be named the fastest growing technology company in Canada and the fastest growing software company in North America is an incredible honour. This speaks to the hard work and dedication of our team," said Alexander Fernandes, president and CEO of Avigilon.
