DNA Fusion V6 software easily works with ASSA ABLOY WiFi and PoE locks, ASSA ABLOY Aperio, Salto Wireless locks
The new DNA Fusion V6 offers compatibility with various new applications offered by Open Options

Open Options announced recently the official release of DNA Fusion V6, the most up to date and advanced version of the company’s flagship access control software that has ever been presented to the marketplace. DNA Fusion V6 offers compatibility with various new technology applications offered by Open Options and features third-party integrations with a multitude of security industry leaders.

“We are very excited to be announcing the general release of DNA Fusion version 6 to our customer base. This release contains more improvements and added integrations than we have ever put out before and stands to deliver even more value to our clients currently running DNA Fusion and future customers alike,” said Steve Fisher, CEO of Open Options. “With the addition of FLEX API, we now offer a simple approach to interfacing with third-party systems. And with our new mobile app and web client, our customers can connect to their security system from almost anywhere and from any device.”

One of the most notable advancements of V6 proves to be the expansive integration of third-party systems through Open Options FLEX API (Application Programming Interface) which provides a mechanism for external parties to develop an interface to Fusion software. V6 now easily works with ASSA ABLOY WiFi and PoE locks, ASSA ABLOY Aperio, Salto Wireless locks, and provides extended features for Schalge AD Series Wireless locks. The software also integrates seamlessly with Video Insight and Aimetis VMS Systems. Beyond the scope of lock and video, V6 integrates to DMP receivers and Codebench’s PIVcheck software for full FIPS 201 compliance.

The Open Options software development team has worked diligently over the past year to ensure DNA Fusion V6 also offers dramatic improvements toward a quick and simple install and configuration. The new version is equipped to offer seamless migration from previous versions of DNA Fusion. Several customer sites have already deployed the release candidate version and their success has allowed for the general release of V6 a couple months ahead of ISC West. Open Options will be demonstrating all of the new features of DNA Fusion V6 – as well as Fusion Mobile, Fusion Web, and FLEX API – at Booth 6103 at ISC West in Las Vegas, April 2-4.
