Digital Watchdog (DW™), the industry leader in digital recorders, surveillance cameras and related management software, announces the release of its new VMAX IP NVR product line of true HD 1080P network surveillance systems. The VMAX IP Complete Solution offers a user-friendly NVR and four 2.1MP cameras engineered for robust performance and ease of use. While Digital Watchdog offers advanced Complete analogue Solutions, we also see the market transitioning to exciting opportunities for those who upgrade their systems to IP surveillance. To assist small-scale applications, Digital Watchdog offers a simple transition from analogue to IP with the VMAX IP Complete Solution Bundle. This NVR was developed on Digital Watchdog’s core belief in offering our customers easy to manage and user-friendly solutions at the highest quality on the market. Customers of the popular VMAX NVRs will instantly be familiar with the Pivot™ management software included with the VMAX IP.

The VMAX IP is available in a 4 channel configuration, with 8 and 16 channel options coming in early 2015. The VMAX IP series has an embedded PoE interface, allowing the IP cameras to be powered directly from the NVR. This enables a convenient and quick installation process. The NVR is designed for optimal performance with DWC-BVI2IR cameras, but it can support the industry’s leading 2MP cameras via the OnVIF protocol with no additional or special configuration required.

The VMAX IP offers full real-time HD 1080P live streaming and recording, along with powerful features such as network monitoring, auto and remote firmware upgrade, free and simple DDNS service for remote management, event notifications via e-mail and text, mobile application for iOS, Android and Kindle devices, a local display based on the popular VMAX GUI and an unbeatable 5 year limited warranty.

“We at Digital Watchdog pride ourselves in the ability to respond quickly to market expectations with dependable complete solutions,” said Wade Thomas, President, Digital Watchdog. “With the inclusion of our familiar Pivot software, analogue users can instantly transition to 1080p IP surveillance with no learning curve required.”
