| As National Account Manager for ASSA ABLOY, Bruce comes with years' experience as a Building Surveyor |
ASSA ABLOY UK’s Security Solutions division has appointed Bruce East to the role of National Account Manager.
Responsible for developing sales of UNION hardware products and ASSA ABLOY door closers within the OEM channel, one of Bruce’s key tasks will be working with larger manufacturers to manage the 2013 CE marking changes to doorsets.
Having trained and worked as a Building Surveyor, Bruce went on to specialise in windows and doors, working for various architectural and joinery companies, including Marvin Architectural Ltd and Carey & Fox Ltd.
Speaking on his new role at ASSA ABLOY Security Solutions, Bruce said: “This role at ASSA ABLOY is a great opportunity for me to bring my years’ of experience working within the joinery industry to a channel that is going through some exciting and progressive changes. This appointment not only allows me to work for the leading manufacturer in door opening solutions, but also gives me the opportunity to work with some of the leading systems houses and manufacturers within the window and door industry.”
In his spare time Bruce leads an active lifestyle with interests including Latin dance, squash and tennis and he also enjoys rock climbing throughout Europe.
