GJD, a leading British manufacturer and designer of professional external detector equipment has recently launched an innovative range of IP detectors. Combining advanced signal processing, PoE communications and unique optical systems, the new detectors offer flexible security solutions, whilst being easy to install and integrate with existing security systems and VMS platforms.

Seamless integration with VMS providers and CCTV systems

Suitable for all sector requirements, the company’s D-TECT IP products offer comprehensive benefits including seamless integration with major VMS providers and CCTV cameras. Milestone, Mirasys, Seetec, Kentima Ethiris and Griffid are to name a few of the supported VMS systems. Compatible camera systems include Axis, Bosch, Sony and Mobotix. Mark Tibbenham, GJD’s Managing Director commented: “Our new D-TECT IP detectors provide real-time remote access to enable remote monitoring from anywhere and at any time”.

Flexible detection monitoring

The D-TECT IP range offers truly scalable benefits including programmable beam detection and coverage settings. Combining Power over Ethernet with a bespoke and user-friendly web based interface, the D-TECT IP affords intuitive and quick online access. The user can also change all of the detector settings remotely. Some of the adjustable settings include the ability to alter the LUX level trigger, sensitivity (Pulse Count), detection range as well as ‘light on’ timers.

Power over Ethernet connectivity

All of the detectors use Power over Ethernet connectivity to provide powerful security solutions where recording starts automatically, cameras are instantly directed to the location of intrusion and guards are alerted with detailed alarm information.
