Axis Communications, the global leader in the network video market
Axis Communications UK launch successful seminar series

Axis Communications, the global leader in the network video market, recently held a successful Industry Solution Seminar in the UK. Themed around specific market segments, this seminar series, aimed at security installers, presents the wide spectrum of IP-based applications provided by Axis and their partners.

The first seminar, held at Highgate House, Northamptonshire, was well attended with fifteen companies represented. Attendees viewed presentations and demonstrations from Axis, Genetec & Paxton Access, before taking part in a panel discussion around the challenges and opportunities in the Education sector.

"[The] Education event was really informative. It was good to meet other professionals who face similar challenges in the market and discuss ideas and ways of promoting IP video. Equally useful was hearing from other vendors [as well as Axis Communications], who promoted opportunities that weren't initially considered by myself." - Colin Rosam, seminar attendee.

The next seminar will be held on 30 April 2009, looking at solutions for the Emergency Services with partners Milestone Systems and Paxton Access. Future events will look at applications for the transport, retail and industrial segments.

These events are offered free of charge to security installers, but places are limited.

Upcoming seminars:

30 April: Emergency Services
2 July: Transport
17 September: Retail
26 October: Industrial
