MRFS Group appoints former Chubb regional director, Mark Ault, as its Operations Director
MRFS Group has recently acquired Manchester security firm Secure Options

Leading security firm MRFS Group has announced its second acquisition in the space of one month, as it continues to push forward plans to build its operational strength throughout the UK.

Alongside the purchase of Essex based Sterling Alarms Ltd, MRFS Group has also appointed former Chubb regional director, Mark Ault, as its Operations Director.

Sterling Alarms had over 35 years of experience in providing security installation and maintenance to domestic and commercial clients in Essex and the South East. Owners Tony Pettitt and Scott Jackson will continue to work together as part of the MRFS Group. The deal to acquire Sterling Alarms also incorporates Network Security Systems as well as contracts from North Grays Security.

Market leading MRFS Group, based in London, recently announced the acquisition of Manchester security firm Secure Options and this latest purchase represents the next in an on-going campaign to expand through the acquisition of specialist, niche businesses around the UK, especially in the South East and Home Counties.

With a customer profile  that includes major high street retail chains, high-end residential developers, major hotel operators, government embassies and a wide spread domestic customer base, MRFS has established itself as leaders in designing, installing and maintaining high-tech security, fire and audio visual systems.

MRFS chief executive, Tony Bygraves, says: “This latest acquisition further enhances our customer base in London and the Home Counties, an area that we have been serving for over 30 years. Tony and Scott are high quality engineers who are trusted by their customers, and we are very pleased that they will continue to work with us as part of the MRFS Group, providing continuity and assistance to their long-standing customers.”

Mark Ault spent almost 20 years at Chubb Security, rising to Regional Director London before moving to First Choice Facilities as its Operations Director. Mark’s remit at MRFS will be to help drive forward the company’s expansion plans and deliver a consistently high level of service and offerings across the whole group.

Bygraves adds: “Mark is an important addition to our management team. We have already bought a number of businesses in to the Group and are looking to continue this expansion through to the New Year with further acquisitions of similar companies who may be looking to dispose of their maintenance and monitoring contracts. Mark’s experience at an operational level across the UK will be key to ensuring that our service continues to be delivered to a high standard by all members of the Group.”
