ACTi booth at IFSEC 2009
ACTi demonstrates aggressive growth in product solution and sales marketing with positive feedback from IFSEC 2009
ACTi, the leading IP surveillance solution manufacturer, once again, amazed the market by showcasing their even more complete product and solution offering in IFSEC 2009 during May 11 to 14, 2009. ACTi did grab the attention of the exhibition by not only showing the advantageous product offering but also the unique way ACTi promotes their strength.

With a big island stand, ACTi utilised each corner to perform a solution station where visitors and customers can easily find everything in one single station, accompanied by the support of ACTi's skillful sales and tech professionals. The station showed ACTi IP surveillance unified solution with direct live demo, which demonstrates explicitly the strength of ACTi products: "affordable good quality." Visitors enjoyed the wide range hardware offering with the ease of use of NVR software. "This is a realisation of One-Stop-Shopping at sight in the tradeshow that I ever saw in the past 12 years," claimed by a senior Sales Director of a national system integrator in UK who has experienced all kinds of tradeshow in the past, "not to mention they also prepare a very useful and interesting sales and technical tool set, the Sales Agent, which was displayed alongside the NVR solution, all the questions I asked their sales rep, he can easily answer me with a very clear illustrated and well-prepared program.  I'm eager to have next partnership with them," commented the senior Sales Director.

New product is also a blockbuster to the success of its show. The TCM-5311, features with H.264 and Sony CCD Sensor in support to 1.3 megapixel resolution is the most eye-catching section. People found that the TCM-5311 is perfect match to the applications that require high resolution with superior video quality under smooth video performance. For example, TCM-5311 supports a high level frame per second at 18 FPS under low bit rate consumption using H.264. "A few customers claimed TCM-5311 is best-fit for city surveillance and transportation, however, this product has been used in several projects across retail, education and also large industrial ones worldwide," disclosed by one of ACTi sales rep in the tradeshow.

There's no doubt that the video surveillance market is at its tipping point to turn into IP
Moreover, the on-booth promotion session also made the event more attractive and enjoyable. Visitors and customers who gave their business card in the lucky box during the day could join ACTi's lucky draw session and Q&A session twice per day during the show. It was a very successful and also mutual beneficial outcome as each session did gather crowds of visitors to take part in. "I'm very happy with the way ACTi engaged with us, they are much friendlier if compared with the sales team of other manufacturers. There's usually a communication gap between manufacturers in general and system integrators or installers like us, however, we seem to be very closed and comfortable when engaging with ACTi. That's really what we need and it does help our business. Again, I'm very happy with ACTi," noted after having won the lucky draw with a gift of ACTi pin by a Technical Manager from a system integrator company based in Cambridge, UK. Transparent sales and technical support to ensure project success is one of the essential approaches that ACTi aims to empower for the system integrators and installers. ACTi did deliver this message through a lovely session here in IFSEC 2009.

General speaking, there's no doubt that the video surveillance market is at its tipping point to turn into IP ever than before. And it's happening in every tier of the market, the end customers request high resolution, easy installation, scalable expandability, flexible deployment as easy and more affordable cost as they wish, all these requirements could only be satisfied by IP video surveillance. System integrators and installers are embracing this opportunity to expand their business more aggressively rather than holding back or denying as what they did in the past.

With the competence of lowering the price while delivering even better video quality and all essential camera functions, ACTi is presenting its strategic attempt to lead the way by providing more effective support and empowerment to their channel partners, which will definitely create mutual beneficial relationship in their long term partnership. Just as what ACTi highlighted, "join us and enjoy the growth and benefit from new expansion". Yes, this is the great chance to take action now. Why wait!
