Secutech, Asia Pacific's leading exhibition and conference for the electronic and information security and fire and safety industries is already attracting a large number of exhibitors to its 2011 exhibition to be held 20-22 April 2011 at the Nangang Taipei World Trade Centre in Taiwan. The show is organised by Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd., a leading integrated media company dedicated to the security industry which organises Secutech trade fairs as well as publishing 13 A&S magazines and operating several websites.

Also running during Secutech, is its sub-show CompoSec, the world's only event for component suppliers and industry heavyweights are signing up to exhibit. Running for the third year, CompoSec participants are able to approach more than 550 companies who are actively producing finished security devices and solutions.

Secutech is for security makers and manufacturers to source the latest finished security products and devices and CompoSec is where participants provide product designing solutions for security products.

"As IP interface is booming in the security market, components are playing an important role in helping product manufacturers differentiate their products," explained Mr Parson Lee, Managing Director, Messe Frankfurt New Era Business Media Ltd., "and as a result nearly 50 leading security component manufacturers and suppliers including Huperlab, Intel, Intersil, Techwell, LG, Stretch, TI and WD will display their latest products in 900 square metres of exhibition space."

For visitor convenience, CompoSec 2011 will be divided into four product areas.

  • Improved Transmission & Interface: HD-SDI / HDMI Chip, USB Controller, Bridge IC, Ethernet / WLAN / RF IC, 3G / LTE / WiMAX Module
  • Next-gen Identification & Management: Biometrics module, RFID / Smart Card IC, Platform, Data Encrypt, Identification software, Security / Motion sensor
  • Green Security: HDD / ODD, Flash / SSD, Power management, IC, MCU, MEMS, LED

Mr Lee added: "As well as meeting an expected 25,550 professional buyers, exhibitors can also take advantage of exploring business opportunities with exhibiting OEM / ODM / OBM companies at the concurrent Secutech 2011 show."
