Geoff will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities for Wavestore’s open platform VMS

Wavestore has announced a further expansion of its sales team with the appointment of Geoff Bowers to the role of Business Development Manager.

Geoff has worked within the electronic security industry for over 15 years, eight of which as a Director of CBC (Europe) Ltd, whilst immediately prior to joining Wavestore, Geoff was Sales Director of Sicura Systems.

Reporting to Chris Williams, Director of Wavestore, Geoff will be responsible for developing business relationships within the European distribution channel, as well as with system integrators in order to identify new business opportunities for Wavestore’s open platform VMS.

“Geoff is a highly knowledgeable seasoned security professional who is a welcome addition to our fast growing sales team,” said Chris Williams. “Interest in our VMS (Video Management Software), as well as our hardware based video recording solutions, has never been higher and Geoff’s extensive experience will be of considerable value as we look to capitalise on our reputation for delivering robust, reliable and flexible solutions which can be custom designed to exactly match an end-user’s requirements.”

Geoff’s appointment coincides with the introduction of V5.42 of Wavestore’s VMS software which follows hot on the heels of V5.40 which was introduced in October 2013. Collectively, the software updates are intended to demonstrate Wavestore’s ability to maintain its position as a leading innovator of video recording and management solutions. Installers, system integrators and end-users can now capitalise on a wide range of exciting new features, many of which have been developed as a direct result of feedback from customers.
