VIVOTEK is honoured to announce its achievement in “Digital Security Awards 2014" at ISC Brazil, the international exhibition and conference for security held in Sao Paulo from the 19th to the 21st of March, 2014. VIVOTEK has won the Best Mobile IP Camera Award. The award was bestowed on VIVOTEK’s fixed dome network camera MD8562.

At ISC Brazil 2014, Digital Security, the prestigious publication in security industry in Brazil, promoted its 3rd edition of Digital Security Award. Key players in the electronic security industry have joined the competition under different categories, such as equipment and solutions for video surveillance, VMS software, biometrics, access control solutions, and RFID. A dedicated website for this award has been especially established. Readers of Digital Security voted directly online, determining the award winners.

VIVOTEK’s MD8562 is a compact, 2-megapixel network camera, which is especially designed for transportation applications such as buses, trains, and other vehicles. Featuring IK10-rated IP67-rated design, the camera can effectively resist from humidity, dust, vandalism and temperature fluctuations. Besides, being compliant with the EN50155 standard, the camera can withstand shock and vibration, delivering stable and reliable video during vehicle movement. Designed with WDR Enhancement technology, the MD8562 can cope with challenging lighting conditions, identifying image details in extremely bright or dark environments. Video footage of in-vehicle activities or vehicle accidents can be fully and explicitly captured, ensuring passengers’ safety during transit. With intelligent tamper detection feature, MD8562 can keep security staff or administrators notified once suffering video loss from being blocked or spray-painted.
