Initially DVS will sell the camera integrated with Axxonsoft Video Management Software
The partnership will introduce AMG cameras to DVS’s fast growing client base

AMG Systems, the British manufacturer of sophisticated Megapixel cameras and CCTV transmission technology, and DVS, one of the UK’s fastest growing distributors of security and CCTV equipment, have entered a partnership, which sees DVS marketing the AMG-Panogenics 5 megapixel 360 degree PanoCam360 camera range. Initially DVS will sell the camera integrated with Axxonsoft Video Management Software, but offerings with other VMS software integrations are already in process.

Shaun Bowie, Managing Director of DVS says, “Market demand for panoramic cameras is increasing. Our customers can definitely see the benefit of using these new fisheye cameras, as one camera can cover an area that previously required the use of several devices. This also means that the client will have lower installation costs, and the cameras help to simplify the investigation process. The main reason we wanted to work with AMG’s PanoCam360 camera is that it’s entirely British developed and manufactured. It offers a 5 megapixel resolution and integrates easily into the VMS solution we’re currently offering – all in all, it’s a very impressive fisheye camera. As AMG Systems adheres to standardised protocols and has a very helpful technical support team, we’re confident that our customers will respond positively with increased requirements for solutions which utilise the benefits PanoCam360 provides.”

Sara Bullock, International Sales & Marketing Director of AMG Group, commented, “The partnership is a significant move, introducing our range of cameras to DVS’s fast growing client base. PanoCam360 works with the company’s current VMS solution and DVS already plans to bring more PanoCam360-integrated VMS platforms to their offering. This means that users can record a single fisheye stream from the camera, which can then be de-warped and viewed within their chosen VMS solution, providing full operational flexibility, and unparalleled post-event analysis. So – a great combined offering for so many market verticals seeking a whole situational overview with the versatility of PTZ function too.”
