American Dynamics, part of Tyco Security Products, is introducing a wide variety of new LED monitors to answer customers’ diverse viewing requirements. From cost-effective Performance and General Purpose Series featuring 8-inch models, to a Professional Series offering up to 55-inch panel displays, these monitors deliver exceptionally sharp and crisp pictures for every type of business.

The Performance and Professional Series of monitors offer VGA and DVI input especially for DVRs or PC applications. Slim, lightweight, energy and space efficient, these monitors are user-friendly, and include on-screen menus and front panel controls for easy, display parameter adjustments.

“The expansion of our monitor line allows us to better serve our customers’ varied requirements. Whether it’s a retailer looking for a low-cost PVM solution, or a government facility needing the highest resolution available to enforce federal compliance mandates, we have a monitor that fits the need,” said Steve Carney, director of product management for American Dynamics.  “Plus, expanding our monitor line this extensively allows us to be a single source provider of video solutions for customers looking for quality and consistency.”

The monitors are available in a wide variety of resolutions, depending upon the model you choose: from 800 x 600 SVGA, 1355 x 768 (HD), all the way up to 1920 x 1080 FHD (1.3 megapixels). Long-life fluorescent backlights help maintain consistent brightness levels, a key advantage over CRT monitors that become dim over time. The higher resolution monitors are specifically engineered for surveillance operators, while the new public view monitors contain built-in cameras, allowing customers to see themselves on the monitor – an excellent crime deterrent.

For installers who require remote testing capabilities, a portable test monitor and service kit is available, providing 6 hours of continuous display, rechargeable Lithium battery and BlanView technology that make the monitors more readable in sunlight.
