The CF-19 uses Panasonic's Circular Polarising technology and with magnesium alloy casing, anti-scratch and thermally reflective coatings, IP 65 MIL-STD ingression rating, the CF-19 now has added toughness.

The hand-held CF-U1 UMPC  weighs in at meager 1060 grams and with hot-swappable batteries allowing an operating life of up to 9 hours, officers can work a full shift without charging the device.
