CriticalArc is continuing to expand its global reach with the new US office opening just eleven months after establishing its European base outside London, UK
The entry into the US market comes after a number of key wins for the pioneers of SafeZone
CriticalArc, a leading security technology innovator, recently announced that it has opened a US office in Denver, Colorado. The entry into the US market comes after a number of key wins for the pioneers of SafeZone™, a next generation distributed command and control solution that is revolutionising the way that organisations ensure personal safety across dispersed environments. Recent successful customer launches of SafeZone include a number of European and Asia-Pacific universities as well as ex-patriate facilities in the Middle East.

Expanding global operations

Headquartered in Australia, CriticalArc is continuing to expand its global reach with the new US office opening just eleven months after establishing its European base just outside London, UK.  The US operation will be headed up by CriticalArc’s Chief Executive Officer, Glenn Farrant, and will provide sales, marketing and technical support for the USA market.

Glenn Farrant, CEO of CriticalArc, commented: “Opening a regional office here in the United States clearly demonstrates our long-term investment in the region and guarantees the kind of high-quality, localised approach to customer service that is already appreciated by CriticalArc customers in Asia-Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.

“We’re excited by the interest shown in SafeZone across universities and corporations in the US. With the increase in 24/7 operations at enterprise and higher education facilities, security teams are challenged by securing large environments without the benefit of daytime support resources. SafeZone complements conventional security measures by strengthening and streamlining the capacity of our customers to be more responsive to threats and incidents while increasing efficiency around the clock. CriticalArc continues to enhance and develop SafeZone, extending our ability to support new geographic regions and address new vertical markets.”

IACLEA sponsor

This year, CriticalArc will be a Silver Sponsor at the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators (IACLEA) Annual Conference; being held from June 29 to July 2 at the Gaylord Opryland Convention Center in Nashville, Tennessee, USA. The event offers IACLEA members the opportunity to keep pace with current trends and developments in campus safety and security, and will see CriticalArc exhibiting a fully interactive SafeZone demonstration on booth #206.

Visitors to IACLEA will have the chance to discover how SafeZone is transforming campus and open environment security operations by providing security teams with unprecedented real-time situation awareness. In the event of an incident, SafeZone provides security teams with the ability to prioritise resources, coordinate a rapid response and maximise the chances of a successful outcome.

SafeZone security solution

SafeZone™ uses location intelligence to give all users the benefits of 24/7 personalised protection at their fingertips. Available as a free app, SafeZone makes it easy to summon help anywhere, at any time via a simple, discreet tap on their phone; safe in the knowledge that a security team member can see where they are, know what help they need and respond quickly.

A people-centred safety solution, SafeZone also equips security officers with a mobile command and control platform for managing response and delivering mass or targeted communications during small or large-scale emergencies.  Ideally suited to dispersed environments, SafeZone can be implemented in hours to cover any number of locations, alleviating the need to invest in additional physical security measures such as help points. The system’s force-multiplier capabilities significantly improve collaboration during critical incidents while lifting the efficiency of everyday team operations.
