IPCCTV.COM has become only the fifth distributor in the UK to be appointed by Milestone Systems, the global leading provider of open platform IP video surveillance management software.

IPCCTV.COM is the IP division of Y3K (Europe) Limited, a name which reflects a very forward-thinking company and one of the most pro-active in the security products market today.  From humble beginnings in 2000, the company has grown into one of the largest independent CCTV companies in the world.

Behind the scenes, the IPCCTV.COM team includes some of the pioneers of the industry, who have been involved in launching and promoting many of the leading technological advancements in security over the last 25 years.  They are already well versed in IP technology having been exclusive distributors of Vivotek IP products in the UK and Ireland for the last two years.  Vivotek are one of the world's largest IP CCTV hardware manufacturers.

The addition of Milestone XProtect software means that IPCCTV.COM can offer its customers end-to-end, value-added solutions in the IP CCTV market sector.

"We consider the Milestone platform as the de facto standard against which all other IP software is measured, and as such, it has established itself as the ‘Microsoft' of the network video solutions industry," says Mike Norcross, Marketing Manager.  He adds: "Milestone has an enviable reputation and we are delighted to be adding such a top quality brand to our comprehensive portfolio."

With interest and excitement in IP products at fever pitch, the inclusion of the Milestone brand will enable IPCCTV.COM to not only effectively market the world's leading open platform IP video software, but to continue to educate and inform customers of the many benefits of IP security in general.

"There is no doubt in my mind that our partnership with Milestone will go from strength to strength as our customers reap the rewards of integration with our many other security offerings," concluded Norcross.
