Visitors experience the robust VioStor NVR series and its versatile applications including standalone video surveillance management systems, Central Management System (CMS) turnkey solutions, Qdewarp technology, Mobile NVR, mobile surveillance apps, 4K Digital Signage display support, and much more to find an ideal solution for their surveillance needs.

“As a well-rounded video surveillance solution provider, QNAP Security provides complete surveillance solutions that fulfil versatile requirements for a wide range of industries, businesses and SOHO environments. These solutions can meet various application needs for both the present, and can also scale to meet future growth and developments,” said David Chiang, general manager of QNAP Security.

VioStor CMS & QSCM Lite

The powerful VioStor CMS is a turnkey solution for centralised monitoring & management with multiple VioStor NVRs distributed at different locations, allowing administrators to manage up to 1,024 channels for surveillance deployment of various sizes. “A successful example of the CMS application was demonstrated by a Taiwanese Shopping Mall using the VioStor CMS to manage hundreds of IP and analogue cameras with multiple VioStor NVRs,” said Joe Jen, senior product marketing manager of QNAP Security. Administrators can also use up to eight 4K displays to monitor all of their surveillance channels.

An optional economical way to adopt the CMS application is using the free app "QNAP Surveillance Central Management Lite" (QSCM Lite) which can empower a single VioStor NVR with the abilities of CMS server to centrally monitor, playback and manage up to 256 IP cameras from up to 16 VioStor NVRs. Administrators can enjoy ease-of-use, cost-efficiency, convenience and flexibility with the QSCM Lite.

Qstart

Qstart simplifies system initialisation and network switch control for users to experience effortless NVR installation and remote maintenance. While providing quick initial setting in few clicks, Qstart integrates major functions of ZyXEL PoE switches so users can easily setup camera IPs, manage PoE on/off and monitor traffic flow via the VioStor NVR software. Its intuitive GUI allows for precise failure detection and efficient troubleshooting.

Qdewarp

“As a well-rounded video surveillance solution provider, QNAP Security provides complete surveillance solutions"

QNAP Security introduces Qdewarp technology for easily dewarping fisheye images to rectilinear or straightened views. It effectively eliminates associated compatibility issues with IP cameras and surveillance systems, assisting in practical surveillance management that allows administrators to view the monitoring area in a clearer shape.

Mobile NVR

The new Mobile NVR, a reliable in-vehicle surveillance system, will make its debut in the exhibition. It features EN 50155 TX compliance with utmost vibration and shock protection, and withstands temperatures between -40°C and 60°C (-40°F to 140°F). Supporting Wi-Fi/3G/4G networks, GPS/G-sensor and dual-monitor VGA/HDMI local display (no extra PC needed for live video monitoring), the Mobile NVR is an ideal surveillance solution for a wide range of platforms including transportation and industrial settings.

NVR with 4K digital signage solutions

The combination of VioStor NVR and Digital Signage Players introduces a new way of promoting business. Users in retail, catering, restaurants and similar industries can display real-time 4K videos captured from their VioStor NVR through a Digital Signage Player for use in creative advertising solutions.

Security Essen 2014 takes place from 23 to 26 Sep. 2014 at MESSE ESSEN GmbH.
