Richard will help strengthen & support various technical & manufacturing elements of business

Mayflex, the cabling infrastructure, networking and electronic security solutions distributor has appointed a Technical Services Manager. Richard Cann joined Mayflex during February 2015 to help strengthen and support the various technical and manufacturing elements of the business, both pre and post sales.

Richard has worked for several manufacturers in related industries gaining experience in production and product engineering and design, manufacturing, engineering and operations management with relevant experience in the fibre manufacturing and IP network design and configuration services. The last 8 years have been spent with a major IP integrator.

Andrew Percival, Managing Director at Mayflex comments, “Richard’s role has been introduced to help Mayflex bring together its existing support offerings, to introduce services that complement our product roadmap and assist our customers in increasing their revenue and customer numbers.  We plan to introduce a wide range of new facilities and services which enable Mayflex and its customers to take advantage of the evolving Converged IP market place”.

Percival continued, “Richard’s appointment will allow Mayflex to bring all of its technically led roles under one lead, making us more efficient and achieve greater synergy within the team. It will also allow us to maximise on the resources that we have to offer our customers. We have a number of projects in the pipeline which Richard will oversee and implement into the business.”
