March Networks nominates new Vice President, EMEA Sales – Luigi Portaluri
Mr. Portaluri has more than 20 years of experience in the security industry
March Networks® is pleased to welcome Luigi Portaluri to its sales management team in the position of Vice President, Sales for the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) operations.

Mr. Portaluri has more than 20 years of experience in the security industry, primarily focused on developing public and private sector accounts, as well as leading sales and support channels. During his career, he has overseen the management of multiple sales teams across Western Europe, with responsibility for both regional and in-country strategic business development.

Prior to joining March Networks, Mr. Portaluri served as Regional Manager, Western European Sales with Pelco, and contributed to the organisation's integration success following Pelco's acquisition by Schneider Electric in 2007. Before joining Pelco in 2002 as Country Manager responsible for the company's Italian subsidiary, Mr. Portaluri was Sales Manager with Sensormatic Electronics Corporation Italia. He has also previously worked in senior sales roles with companies including Checkpoint Systems Italia, Honeywell and Siemens Italy S.p.A.

Mr. Portaluri holds bachelor's degrees in economics and electronics and an MBA from the SDA Bocconi School of Management. He will work from March Networks' EMEA regional headquarters in Milan, Italy, focusing on expanding sales opportunities for the company's VideoSphere® portfolio of open-platform VMS software, high-definition IP cameras, encoders, hybrid recorders and leading managed services.
