The Teleste ACE8 is the first node on the market that fully meets the requirements for DOCSIS 3.1 and DVB-C2
The ACE8 is shortlisted in the ‘Best Broadband Network Transmission Solution’ category

Teleste’s intelligent deep fibre node ACE8 has been shortlisted at 2014 SCTE Technological Innovation Awards. The ACE8 is one of the four entries shortlisted for the category of ‘Best Broadband Network Transmission Solution’. The winner of the award will be announced 22 March in London.

The Teleste ACE8 is the first node on the market that fully meets the requirements for DOCSIS 3.1 and DVB-C2. Designed for flexible, future-proof network installations, this one active output node offers service providers cost-efficient access to high transmission capacity. With the downstream frequency band reaching up to 1.2 GHz and the upstream band being easily updated to 200 MHz, the node ensures that future bandwidth needs will be met in deep fibre solutions.

Founded in 1945, the SCTE (Society of Broadband Professionals) is an educational society and non-profit organisation whose aim is to raise the standard of broadband engineering in the telecommunications industry. The society is dedicated to fostering training and career advancement for technical professionals in the field.
