The Awards honours its EMEA business partners for their high levels of sales and significant project wins in their respective regions

CEM Systems, part of the Security Products business unit of Tyco, is pleased to announce the winners of the 2015 CEM Business Partner of the Year Awards, EMEA. Securitas received the CEM Business Partner of the Year award for their success in Europe, LMG for UK & Ireland, Majees Technical Services LLC for Middle East, and Afrisec Group for the Africa region. The winners were announced at the annual CEM Conference held at the 5 star Culloden Hotel, Belfast, 27th – 29th April 2015.

CEM, Regional Sales Director, EMEA comments

 “Our business partners are critical to our success in continuing to grow CEM access control and security management solutions in key territories and markets around the world”, said Philip Verner, Regional Sales Director, EMEA, CEM Systems. “The 2015 Business Partner Awards not only honour our top EMEA business partners for their high levels of sales and significant project wins in their respective regions, but also recognise their commitment towards gaining accredited CEM training, setting up CEM demo facilities and working on successful joint marketing initiatives”.

Securitas recognised with the award

Securitas was awarded Business Partner of the Year, 2015 for Europe due to their seamless security upgrade and expansion of the CEM AC2000 system at Keflavik International Airport, Iceland. “We at Securitas in Iceland are proud and thankful for the honour bestowed on us with the CEM Business Partner of the Year award for 2015 for Europe” said Thordur Ingason, Key Account Manager, Securitas.  “We have been working closely with CEM since 2006 in the Icelandic market, where we have implemented innovative ideas in the AC2000 system for airports. We would like to thank Keflavik Airport system administrators for their part in this award and we are looking forward to continuing our close relationship with both the airport and the CEM team”.

For the UK and Ireland region, LMG received this year’s award in recognition of their particular success with CEM in the technology and construction verticals. “The CEM AC2000 security management system is ideal for technology and construction markets where 24/7 state of the art security is critical” said Owen Williams, Head of IP Solutions & Services, LMG. “We are delighted to accept this award and I am confident that CEM is the right partner to meet our customers' high end security management needs - both today and in the future”.

Majees honoured for success in Oman

For the Middle East region, Majees Technical Services LLC won the Business Partner of the Year Award for their significant success in Oman. “Throughout the last year we have been awarded numerous high profile contracts within the petroleum, government and banking sectors - where the CEM AC2000 security management system and integrated CEM biometric solution was the ideal choice” said Sekhar Subramonian, General Manager, Majees Technical Services LLC. “We value this award which is also a reflection of our success and commitment in building a highly accredited team of engineers with strong CEM product experience.”

Afrisec for their project management 

Afrisec Group received the award for their successful project  management  of CEM access control at Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) sites throughout Africa. Within the last year, Afrisec has not only managed the installation of security on 600+ doors for CBN sites, but have also continually promoted CEM at major African exhibitions and seminars. “Our team is really proud to have won the CEM Business Partner of the Year award for Africa”, said Edward Van Trotsenburg, Managing Director, Afrisec Distribution & Consulting Ltd. “As a high quality, innovative access product, CEM is ideal for our customers like CBN who need the highest level of security technology.
