Revader Security has supplied several mobile CCTV towers to security and facilities management provider ESG Security for use in business parks, where they have successfully deterred criminal activity.

In early 2023, reports were received from delivery drivers of the road outside of a UK business park becoming a hotspot for drug dealing. This was understandably a cause of concern for the drivers and the commercial tenants, some of whom operate 24/7 businesses.

CCTV tower

The decision was taken to deploy a mobile CCTV tower produced by Revader Security as a deterrent and to benefit the overall security of the site. The highly visible 7m tower was placed in a strategic location that provided clear coverage of the surrounding road.

Its multiple camera angles were proactively monitored by SIA-licenced PSS CCTV operatives at ESG’s 24-hour control room. Operatives were able to identify those responsible and pass evidence to the police. The operatives used the tower’s loudspeaker to alert the drivers that they were being recorded. In most cases, this was enough to deter illegal behaviour.

Safe and secure management

ESG Security said, “The deployment of the CCTV tower was successful in deterring criminal activity in the area. The tenants closest to where the activity had been taking place reported feeling safer and more secure, and the management of the business park received positive feedback from other tenants who appreciated the extra security.”

Revader’s mobile CCTV towers are complete surveillance, recording, and remote monitoring solutions that transmit encrypted live and recorded footage via 4G to any PC or handheld device.

Robust solution

Powered by mains, fuel generators, batteries, or renewable sources, they are robustly constructed yet easily towable by a standard car and quick to deploy in virtually any location.

Revader Security continues to support ESG security in its comprehensive security services operational at several UK sites.
