AMAG Technology certified partner, Bosch Security Systems, certified its digital recording solutions with Symmetry™ v8.0.1 access control system. AMAG Technology is an integrated security provider of access control, video management and visitor management solutions. Symmetry products give customers a comprehensive end-to-end software platform so users can manage all their security needs while reducing risk and meeting industry compliance.  AMAG Technology and Bosch cooperatively tested and certified this integration through AMAG’s Symmetry Preferred Partner Program.

Strengthening relations

“Bosch’s continued commitment to our Symmetry Preferred Partner Program ensures our joint customers that they will always have the most up-to-date technology available to them when they are ready to upgrade,” said AMAG Technology, Vice President of Product Marketing and Symmetry Preferred Program Manager, Dave Ella.

“Integrating high quality images from Bosch video solutions with the security and productivity features of Symmetry is a powerful combination that delivers improved situational awareness to security personnel,” said Brad Eck, Integration Manager, Bosch Security Systems, Inc. “By certifying our devices with Symmetry v8, we ensure our mutual customers can benefit from the improvements in security management delivered by the software that result in greater overall facility control.”

Integration benefits

The integration of Bosch digital recording solutions with AMAG’s Symmetry v8.0.1 security management system allows operators to verify events and alarms by viewing live and playback video from Bosch devices directly in the Symmetry user interface. Supported Bosch recording solutions include the DIVAR IP family of storage and video management solutions, the unique Video Recording Manager which provides automatic balancing of video streams to optimise storage space and improve retention times, the DIVAR AN family of recorders that deliver the full benefits of 960H analogue cameras, and much more.

The certification of Bosch recording solutions allows mutual customers to benefit from the detailed images delivered by Bosch cameras. This includes fixed and pan-tilt-zoom cameras featuring starlight and dynamic technology for challenging lighting conditions, panoramic cameras that offer a full 180-degree or 360-degree overview without blind spots, affordable HD and megapixel cameras for everyday surveillance, and much more. Security personnel gain the visual information they need to respond more accurately and efficiently to system events.
