Boon Edam offers free monthly technical webinars, free factory-based training during the year on a specific product

The new “Roadshow Training” will be in addition to factory trainings held at Boon Edam's subsidiary headquarters in North Carolina

Boon Edam Inc., a global leader in security entrances and architectural revolving doors, recently announced that it is expanding its current Technical Training Program in 2016 to now offer product certification courses at four locations around the USA. The new “Roadshow Training” will be in addition to factory trainings held at its subsidiary headquarters in North Carolina.

Technical training Program mission

Boon Edam’s Technical Training Program mission is to enable its valued partners to build positive, long term relationships with end user customers and operate more independently through the transfer of technical knowledge and certification. The Roadshow Training brings in-depth education direct to the partner’s region. Each session will focus on the installation, service, maintenance and overall care of manual and automatic revolving doors, including the Tourlock security revolving door with StereoVision technology. A specially engineered, full-size revolving door with both automatic and manual parts will be shipped to each training location and made available for hands-on learning. Participants of each class will be expected to install the door onsite in the meeting room. The training will also consist of classroom discussion and presentations along with hands-on and schematic learning.

Hands-on training

“Our new Roadshow training brings the in-depth, hands-on experience of our factory training direct to our partners for unmatched convenience and accessibility. This means less down time for service and install staff by eliminating travel to the east coast for certification,” said Zac Ellett, Technical Training Resources Manager, who has been the driving force behind creating the Training Roadshow program. An important factor to note is this training will be offered in two separate, two-day sessions back-to-back, so if a partner has several techs requiring training and certification they can split them up between the sessions.

Focus on manual, automatic and security revolving doors

The first day of training will focus on Boon Edam Manual Revolving Doors and the second day on Boon Edam Automatic and Security Revolving Doors. Each Regional Boon Edam Business Development Manager will notify their local distributors and installers about training sessions scheduled for their area. The invite will include a link to register for a specific, two-day session.

The best news? There is no cost to attend, other than travel and hotel expenses. Training includes lunch and snacks throughout both days. Boon Edam recognises the importance of providing our partners convenient, thorough training to better equip them with the skills to succeed in ensuring delighted customers. Along with this 2016 Roadshow Training, Boon Edam offers free monthly technical webinars, free factory-based training during the year on a specific product, AAADM A156.27 Certification for Pedestrian Revolving Doors, onsite training, and customised training to best suit specific distributor/installer needs.

Roadshow Trainings commence on March 14th, 2016 in San Jose, CA and continue throughout the year in Chicago, Houston, and then Atlanta.
