In partnering with Okta, Bitglass is now able to leverage the capabilities of Okta’s cloud-based identity and access management (IDaaS) platform with Bitglass’ cloud access security broker (CASB) solution that can seamlessly authenticate users, prevent unauthorised accesses, and limit the impact of compromised credentials. Combined solution enhances protection
Capabilities of the combined solution include single sign-on (SSO) for both protected apps, as well as any application that supports SAML for SSO, Active Directory synchronisation and authentication, and adaptive multi-factor authentication (AMFA).
Bitglass’ dual-SAML termination ensures that the strength of Okta’s SAML SSO is preserved without the added phishing risk that comes with some architectures. Bitglass can orchestrate step-up authentication via Okta AMFA, even during an established session, requiring users to provide additional authentication to access corporate data.
