ASSA ABLOY Access Control, a UK division of ASSA ABLOY, the global leader in door opening solutions has appointed Gareth Ellams as its new Managing Director.

Gareth has twenty years of experience working in the security industry, including two years at ASSA ABLOY where he launched a number of new products into EMEA including Aperio® L100.

ASSA ABLOY Access Control is at the leading edge of access control solutions, and Gareth will continue the company’s journey of integrating with third party OEMs to provide cost effective innovative access control solutions.

Gareth’s new role at ASSA ABLOY

Gareth Ellams, Managing Director at ASSA ABLOY Access Control, said: “I am extremely excited about leading the ASSA ABLOY Access Control team at a time when technology is advancing rapidly and we are moving into a world where access control solutions are becoming part of everyday life for us all.
