ARC Training has expanded ways to help students to prepare for exams for CPP and PSP accreditations
As ASIS International's education partner, ARC Training offers blended, distance learning

ARC Training has announced that it is now offering four different ways in which students can prepare to achieve ASIS CPP® or PSP® accreditations.

“As an ASIS International Education Partner, we appreciate that there are many security professionals who wish to acquire the ASIS CPP® or PSP® accreditations, but they need to do so within the context of their busy working lives,” said Sarah Hayward, Sales Manager of ARC Training.

“This is why we have introduced a choice of learning options to enable students to take on board essential security industry knowledge at a pace that best suits them.”

ASIS Accreditations

The ASIS CPP® (Certified Protection Professional) accreditation is one of the most widely recognised security management qualifications in the world, providing employers with proof of the holder’s enhanced knowledge of security management.

The ASIS PSP® (Physical Security Professional) accreditation provides proof of the holder’s knowledge and experience in threat assessment and risk analysis; integrated physical security systems; and the appropriate identification, implementation, and ongoing evaluation of security measures.

ARC Training examination prep

The exams for both accreditations can be difficult to pass without guidance and with this in mind, ARC Training has expanded the ways in which it helps students prepare for the exams. These include:

  • Blended Learning: This comprises a four month distance learning programme followed by a five day intensive classroom based course.
  • Distance Learning: A five month distance learning programme during which students receive remote support from a designated and fully qualified tutor.
  • Intensive 10: This programme is split into three parts. The first five days are trainer led and teaches learners how to navigate their way around the ASIS reference material. This is followed by two days of guided reading and assessments. The final five days focus on testing learners, to identify strengths and weaknesses and is followed by a mock exam with questions similar to those found in previous CPP® or PSP® exams.
  • Intensive 5: This programme is a condensed version of the Intensive 10 day course.

The Distance Learning option is accessible to students from anywhere in the world. ARC Training is also offering the option of ‘in-house’ courses for companies or organisations that wish to provide the preparation programmes for a number of employees. The in-house courses can be run at a time and place of the client’s choosing, maximising convenience and minimising travel and accommodation costs.
