Aratek gears up to show its latest biometric security and digital identity solutions at the ISC West 2022, the premier trade show for comprehensive & converged security in the U.S.

Topping the bill is the Aratek BA8300, an IP65-rated terminal that integrates fever detection, fingerprint recognition, barcode scanning (for reading any digital COVID certificates) & RFID reading. It runs Aratek’s patented Truface Manager which enables Live Face Detection on the built-in dual HDR cameras for fast and accurate facial ID authentication.

Versatile access control solution

The BA8300 provides a versatile access control solution so indispensable in times such as the COVID-19 pandemic. The BA8200-T, on the other hand, integrates body temperature scanning and facial recognition.

It supports TruFace Manager App, an all-in-one client for enrolment, identification, authentication, access control, as well as other functions. TruFace Manager is ideal for physical security and access control as it can effectively bar entry for people on a blacklist. Its Liveness Detection feature prevents spoofing by rejecting and flagging any attempt to use a photograph for identification.

Rugged biometric tablet

The pandemic has brought into sharp focus the need for more sophisticated modes of access control. The BA8300 and BA8200-T are next-generation biometrics terminals that are making a difference in curbing the spread of the virus and will prove valuable even in the post-pandemic world,” said Samuel Wu, VP for International Business Division. ‍

Aratek is also set to showcase before the US market the Marshall 8, the latest in the revolutionary Marshall line of biometric terminals designed for various verification and identification applications. The top-shelf Marshall 8 is a rugged biometric tablet with a larger 8-inch TFT 1280 x 800 display designed for even greater usability. It is equipped with both a FAP30 fingerprint scanner and facial recognition capabilities. The Marshall 8 delivers multi-factor authentication with its ability to read contact/contactless cards and scan barcodes.

Optical fingerprint scanners

ISC West will run from March 23 to 25, 2022 at the Venetian Expo, Las Vegas

This multi-factor biometric authentication remains to be the gold standard in delivering highly-accurate and highly-secure biometric solutions,” Wu said.

Also expected to be on display is Aratek’s full line of FBI-certified optical fingerprint scanners ranging from FAP 20 to FAP 60 including the A800 two-finger scanner and the A900 4-4-2 ten-print scanner. The two Aratek products are known for high-quality live-scan fingerprinting that are proven to dramatically boost security as applied to border control, finance, law enforcement, among others.

We’re excited to chat with everyone interested in security and digital identity. If you’re in the Las Vegas area, feel free to visit the Aratek booth at the ISC West and we’d be glad to show you how our biometric solutions can help you design security systems that really work,” Wu said. ‍ISC West will run from March 23 to 25, 2022 at the Venetian Expo, Las Vegas. Aratek can be found at Booth #6401.
